  I am originally from Michigan.My background is diverse in that I possess an MBA from the University of Michigan and work in the world of Accounting and Finance.As my second career, I’ve been a DJ/Entertainer for over 10 years.I consider myself a bit of a nerd (in a good way!) and a perfectionist.I joined the Minnesota Complete Music team in 2009.I absolutely love all types of music and enjoy the joy that I can bring my clients by providing a great entertainment experience at their Wedding, Corporate event or other special occasion.In my free time, I travel, read, go to movies, watching shows such as CSI and Cold Case on TV, and am a bit of an airplane enthusiast.

John was the winner of the coveted CM SMILE AWARD on Saturday March 20th 2010.  This award has only been handed out 3 time in the last 8 years!  John work ethic and customer service work is impeccable!  And he is on his way to winning this award for 2010.  Congratulations!

What makes you unique as an entertainer?

I love getting the audience excited by playing hit music and doing interactive dances.Once the music starts, it really gets me going and I love seeing everyone having a great time.I love all types of music whether it is R&B, oldies, country or something else entirely.I can find a song from every genre that I love.It sounds strange, but my two favorite types of music are Top 40 and Country.Everyone from Usher to Taylor Swift inspires me, which makes me unique.

Give an example of one of your best moments as an entertainer.

Every event has its unique moments and things that I will always remember.I try to take every experience and turn it into a learning tool in order to grow and continually improve my skills.

Why do you enjoy working at Complete Music?

My day job is fairly serious and conservative and being a DJ allows me to show the other side of my personality which is my love for music and entertaining.Complete Music has a great reputation and I love being a part of that.

What is your #1 goal at a dance?

To provide the best possible entertainment to my guests and create a fun and special occasion for everyone!I believe that it is my responsibility to encourage a fun environment where everyone can let loose and participate.I like the center of attention to be you and your guests rather than the DJ.

What type of personality do you have?

I try to be very professional, but during events, I know how to let loose and let the music and people make me happy and excited to be in that moment!I adapt my personality to fit the environment as well as your wishes, dreams and desires.

Why do you like performing at wedding dances?

I like to see people smile.I do everything I can to make your day special and to allow your guests to enjoy the evening and develop memories that last a lifetime.
